Concrete Sealers
SC25
Siliconate Water Repellent And Salt Guard For White Concrete
The Armor SC25 is a high solids, water-based siliconate water repellent sealer that penetrates deep into the concrete surface where it fuses with the substrate to form a cross-linked hydrophobic barrier within the pores. Surfaces sealed with the Armor SC25 are more resistant to the damaging effects of water absorption and salt damage. It is a fantastic sealer for unsealed white and light concrete surfaces.
Benefits:
Can be used on new, uncured concrete
Won’t change the look, color, or texture of the surface
Works entirely below the surface and won’t leave a surface film
Reduces damage and deterioration caused by water absorption
Reduces damage and deterioration caused by snow and ice

The Armor SC25 is designed specifically to be used on unsealed white or very light concrete It can’t be applied to surfaces recently applied with a water repellent sealer, or surfaces previously sealed with a film-forming sealer or coating. It can’t be applied to medium to dark gray concrete, colored concrete, brick, exposed aggregate concrete, slate, flagstone, masonry, or anything other than white or very light concrete. Applying the Armor SC25 outside of the suggested application will result in the formation of white crystals on the surface that can only be removed through mechanical grinding.
If you are looking for a water repellent sealer for unsealed medium gray concrete, red clay brick, natural stone, or other masonry, consider instead the Armor SX5000 WB.
-
The Armor SC25 is designed to work entirely below the surface. It will not change the look or color of the substrate and it will not leave a visible surface film when properly applied.
-
When properly applied, the Armor SC25 can last up to 3-5 years before the need for a recoat.
While the Armor SC25 is designed to out-last and out-perform similar products on the market, there are several factors that can impact actual product life including the severity of surface abrasion and level of foot traffic, the porosity of the concrete, and other factors. Some surfaces need to be sealed every year, while others can go a few years without sealing.
Water Bead: Surface water beading will not occur on all surfaces. While some surfaces may experience an instantaneous bead, others won’t experience a surface water bead at all. Surface water beading is not a sealer benefit. Surface water bead is caused from resin build-up in the surface pores. Once the resin build-up goes away, so will the bead. The Armor SC25 is designed to work entirely below the surface so its benefits are made visible through performance. You will find sealed surfaces dry faster, are easier to clean, and experience less damage caused by freeze-thaw cycles and de-icing salts.
